Jam making to help others ...
On Wednesday 12th July a group of children from Y4 and Y5 took part in the Whole Foods ‘School Food Matters’ project. They learned cooking skills with a top chef, visited the store to look at packaging and promotion, picked strawberries at a local farm and finally produced their own jam.
At a market day at the store we sold all our jam in an amazing 20 minutes!!! Making a £55 profit!
The group decided to donate the profit to The British Red Cross help those in need affected by the fire at Grenfell Tower.
