Louise Robbins
About Me
I joined the Governing Body in October 2020 as a parent governor.
I currently work for a university, leading the Physiotherapy degree course and as a Senior Lecturer. I completed my BSc in Physiotherapy at the University of Southampton, and moved to Cheltenham for my first job as a physiotherapist. I loved it so much that I have lived here since, even though I now mainly work outside of the county. Since focusing my career in Higher Education I have gained a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, and a Master’s Degree in Professional Development. In my professional role I lead the development, continual evaluation and improvement of the degree curriculum. As a governor I am keen apply my transferrable skills to support the school.
As a parent governor I am committed to ensuring that Greatfield Park remains a positive and inclusive place for all in the school community, which allows our children to thrive.
