• Look Who's Talking

  Our 'Look Who's Talking' finalists did us SO proud last week, at the Cheltenham heats at the Cheltenham Ladies College.

   

  Talking for two minutes in front of an audience of children, staff and parents from other schools took a lot of courage- especially when you are five years old and first to speak! However, our children had buckets of courage and they also entertained and interested everyone!

   

  The children represented Greatfield Park excellently in this county-wide oracy competition, organised by GAPH (Gloucestershire Association of Headteachers) and should be incredibly proud of their achievement. We certainly are!

   

  Thank you to the Ladies College for hosting the event; such a beautiful and special environment in which to perform.

  

• Aspirations Day

  This was our very first Aspirations Day which was both aspirational and inspirational!

  The children were lucky enough to hear from a variety of visitors about a range of jobs and what they involved. Also the other jobs people have had before finding on their 'dream job'.

   

  The children were given lots to think about and asked many interesting questions. They learned about the best bits of jobs and how they can be challenging and can go wrong! Thank you so much for everyone who came in to talk to the children - it really is appreciated!

  On the 13th of February Greatfield Park took on Christ Church for their last group match of the season. The team started strongly but were denied by a well organised defence and a fantastic goalkeeper. Once the team got into their stride though the goals started to flow. The team put in a fantastic performance all round and are looking forward to finding out who their opposition will be in the next round.
