  • World Book Day 2020

    We celebrated World Book Day this week with children bringing their favourite book to share with the class, as we attempted to ‘Share A Million Stories’. Both children and staff also had the option of coming to school dressed up as their favourite book character. It was a delight to see the wide variety of literature that inspires our children, as well as the wide variety of characters on display! During the day the children enjoyed lots of fun activities to further inspire reading for pleasure.  Can you identify the famous characters from the picture?   

  • Feet First Dance Festival

    Years Rec, 1, 3 and 4 took part in the Feet First Dance Festival at the Cheltenham Town Hall.

     

    On Monday, our children in Years Rec, One, Three and Four showcased their magnificent dancing skills at the Feet First Festival at the Cheltenham Town Hall.

  • Year 1 Trip to Cotswold Wildlife Park

    Year 1 had a great day out at The Cotswold Wildlife Park.

     

    It was lovely to see the excitement of the Year 1 children as they visited Cotswold Wildlife Park on Tuesday 25th February, linked to their new REAL Project question ‘Who would live in a home like this?’ They were even treated to a Habitats workshop, as they launch the second part of the project, while also being able to observe a wide variety of animals throughout the day.

    Year 3 braced the wintery weather conditions at Cranham woods for a ‘Hunter Gather’ session to support their REAL project learning.

    Year 2 enjoyed a trip to Bristol Zoo.

     

    On Tuesday, Year 2 enjoyed a fantastic trip to Bristol zoo, where the children were able to take part in a bespoke animal habitats and food chains workshop, as well as view a variety of animals.
